Today I visited the surgical center in Santa Cruz to briefly report on the progress made in the construction of the surgical clinic during this last month of January.

The most notable update is the installation of almost all windows. Combined with the white finish on the walls, the final look of the building is starting to come into focus. Windows were still being installed as I was there, and the application of the white finish inside the building is in progress as well.
The parking lot retaining walls are almost complete. Only a few details are left.
Nearby, the framing for the waiting room facade has been filled in with concrete.
Speaking to Donald, one of the leaders of the construction team, I learned more about the plans for construction in February:
Complete the white finish inside (partly started) and outside (almost done, only the waiting room facade is left)
Complete the installation of windows in the few remaining spots.
Install ceramic floor in the non-OR areas of the clinic.
Pastor Pete Wilcox's crew will come down to install drywall and complete the electrical and air conditioning systems.
I will likely provide a mid-month update during Pastor Pete's time here as the drywall is an important step in the construction process.
Thanks for tuning in to this update. I look forward to providing more information in the coming weeks.
